Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahavidyalaya is run by ‘Indira Memorial Educational Institute Latur’ and Affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.  The college was established in the year Sept. 1994. College has been founded with the vision of serving higher education to the student of Urban and rural area particularly Backward Boys and girls. College has One Faculty Arts. Arts faculty was started in Sept. 1994. More than 60% students are below poverty level. Various activities are implemented in the college to encourage these children and take them forward. Competitive exams., sports activities, cultural program, Guest lectures & career guidance programs are arranged for personality development.
